Rachel Shortall is a fully qualified and experienced ASA swim and learning support teacher. She supports children with learning barriers to access the National Curriculum within a mainstream school. She is an active staff member and supports the annual Harrow Schools Swimming Gala as a joint swim coach for her local primary school.
Rachel is fully qualified to plan, prepare, deliver, monitor and evaluate a series of swimming teaching sessions – effectively and independently. Moreover, she ensures each child’s lessons are catered to individual needs and are progressive. Not only does Rachel teach schools’ swimming, but she is as equally adept at teaching groups as she is at teaching adults and children on a private 1:1 basis. One of our clients (June 2018) recently described Rachel as ‘outstanding’.
Rachel is first aid trained with the British Red Cross (from babies to adults), has an enhanced DBS certification and is up to date with current safeguarding legislation.
Rachel is confident, friendly and conscientious. Rachel lives in Edgware with her family.
