Harrison Hill is a highly qualified swimming teacher. Initially a competitive swimmer, with The Borough of Harrow SC and subsequently Ealing SC, Harrison moved into the teaching side of aquatics to qualify as an ASA swim teacher and pass on the skills and drills he himself learned whilst in the water. He is fully qualified to plan, prepare, deliver, monitor and evaluate a series of swimming teaching sessions – effectively and independently. He not only works for J9 Swimming but is also a swim coach with The Borough of Harrow SC. He is as adept at coaching competitive squads as he is at teaching on a 1:1 basis.
Harrison updated his qualifications in February 2018 when he attended a Safeguard & Protecting Children Workshop. Moreover, he has been DBS checked (enhanced disclosure) and is a member of the Institute of Swimming. He has basic first aid training and is a bronze award sport leader.
Alongside his enduring passion for swimming, Harrison also enjoys catering. Harrison has largely followed the career pathway of his older brother who has also swam competitively and worked for J9 Swimming. Harrison lives in Stanmore with his family.
