Callum Hill is a fully qualified and experienced ASA level 2 swim teacher and coach. Callum’s passion for swimming started when he joined Harrow & Wealdstone Swimming Club as a competitive swimmer. He then volunteered to swim teach with mainly very young, non-swimmers before taking his teaching and coaching qualifications. Callum can plan, prepare, deliver, monitor and evaluate teaching and coaching sessions. He understands the fundamentals of sport and how to develop and support participants through the sport. He is also aware of how to teach in a safe and equitable environment.
Callum’s experience is not just limited to J9 Swimming. He also works with another swim school in St Albans and combines this with coaching competitive squads at The Borough of Harrow Swimming Club.
Callum has recently attended a Safeguarding & Protecting Children workshop held by Sports Coach UK, is DBS-checked (enhanced) and is a member of the Institute of Swimming as a fully registered aquatic professional. Callum is equally at home with teaching children with disabilities in the water as he is to coaching competitive swimmers from poolside.
Callum lives in South Ruislip with his family.
